Software Developer (Javascript exp req, entry-level) Description
Our client, a leader in innovative electronics and scientific products manufacturing, is seeking an entry-level Software Developer to join their team in near North Charleston, SC. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering & Product Management, you will be trained to be responsible for developing new systems, supporting existing designs, supporting operations, and working across all business functions to define and deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Java or Javascript using Android SDK and have a general understanding of software architecture and embedded systems. To be successful, you must be able to troubleshoot issues across software and electronics. Software Developer (Javascript exp req, entry-level) Responsibilities
• Update existing designs and develop new systems based on identified market needs
• Analyze and optimize UI and control application code for quality, efficiency, and performance
• Work cross-functionally to identify and integrate new technologies
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Support the product lifecycle through the product development and commercialization process
• Utilize version control to track code changes and maintain project history.
• Create project documentation
• Plan and prioritize project activities to ensure progress and accountability
